The William F. Laman Public Library System has three “Little Free Library” installments in North Little Rock.
The “Little Free Libraries” can be found at these locations:
Anyone can visit a library, take a book, and replace it with another - all free of charge and without being a library patron. All books used in these libraries are donated and recycled to the public. “Little Free Library” is a national program used to promote literacy and the love of reading by building free book exchanges worldwide, and now totaling over 65,000+ participating libraries.
These were some of the first “Little Free Libraries” to be placed in Central Arkansas, and Laman Library was the first library in the state to have it's own "Little Free Library" system. Several more locations are being scouted for the next little library. Will your neighborhood be next?
